ZyTales Terms & Conditions

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ZyTales (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform.

Operator; Governing Law; Jurisdictions

ZyTales is owned and operated by Frank & David Labs Private Limited, registered under the Companies Act, 2013, with its office at:M117, Cactus Corporate Coworking, #173, Block B, Tecci Park, OMR, Sholinganallur, Chennai – 600119, India. These Terms are governed by Indian law and disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Chennai, India.

Elligibility

ZyTales is intended for medical aspirants, students, residents, and healthcare professionals. Users must be 13 years or olderand legally capable of forming a binding contract.

Account Registration & Security

Users must provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all actions taken under your account. Inform us immediately of unauthorized access.

Permitted Uses

Users may:

• Create posts
• View, comment, upvote, and downvote
• Delete their own posts and comments
• View profiles.
• Participate in communities/groups
• Use any additional features provided by ZyTales

Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

• Post abusive, hateful, harassing, violent, or discriminatory content
• Post sexual content, nudity, or sexually suggestive material
• Share malicious, harmful, or inappropriate links
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation.
• Share private or personal information about others
• Engage in illegal activity.
• Spread malware, spam, or harmful automated scripts
• Attempt to bypass moderation, bans, or system restrictions
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate content or evade action

ZyTales may block, suspend, or remove any user, post, or comment at its sole discretion.

User Content; License

You own your content.
By posting on ZyTales, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, sub-licensablelicense to:

• store
• host
• display
• reproduce
• modify
• distribute
• create derivative works

This license exists to operate, improve, and promote the Platform.
Your content may remain visible even after account deletion.

Moderation & Enforcement

ZyTales uses a hybrid content moderation system:

1. 8.1. Automated AI Moderation

   All posts, comments, and profile details pass through automated AI checks for:

   • hate, harassment, abuse
   • nudity, sexual content
   • violence, self-harm
   • impersonation
   • personal data exposure
   • unsafe/harmful links
   • spam or malicious behaviour

2. 8.2. Human Moderation

   Flagged or reported content may undergo manual review by moderators.

3. 8.3. Enforcement Actions

   Based on severity and repeated behaviour, actions may include:

   • content removal
   • warnings
   • feature restrictions
   • temporary suspension
   • permanent ban

ZyTales also performs continuous monitoring and improvement of moderation systems.

Communities / Groups (Public & Private)

ZyTales offers public, private and invite-only communities (“Groups”).
By joining or participating in a group, you agree to the following:

1. 9.1. Public Groups

   • Content posted in public groups is visible to all users.
   • Your username and profile details (as configured by you) may be visible.
   • Public groups must follow all Platform rules and moderation guidelines.

2. 9.2. Private Groups

   • Access is restricted to approved members only.
   • Content from private groups must not be copied, leaked, or shared publicly.
   • ZyTales may still access private groups for moderation and safety purposes.

3. 9.3. Group Rules & Admins

   • Group admins may set additional rules, but nothing may override these Terms.
   • Admins may remove posts, comments, or members from their groups.
   • ZyTales may override admin decisions to protect users, enforce policies, or comply with law.

4. 9.4. Monitoring & Reporting

   • All group content (public or private) is subject to automated moderation and, if needed, human review.
   • Users may report group content or members for violations.

5. 9.5. Right to Remove Groups

   ZyTales may modify, restrict, or permanently remove any group or community at its discretion, including for safety, legal, or operational reasons.

Intermediary Compliance (India)

Upon receiving valid legal notice or acquiring actual knowledge of unlawful content, ZyTales may remove or restrict such content as required under Indian law.

Platform Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, code, design elements, and platform features belong to Frank & David Labs Pvt. Ltd.
Copying, replicating, reverse engineering, or creating derivatives is prohibited.

Data Collection

ZyTales collects user data, analytics, logs, and profile information.
Use of the Platform implies consent to data practices defined in ourPrivacy Policy(coming soon).

No Medical Advice

ZyTales hosts user-generated content for discussion purposes only.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The Platform is provided “AS IS” without warranties.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold ZyTales and Frank & David Labs Pvt. Ltd. harmless from claims arising from:

• your use of the Platform
• your violation of these Terms
• your content or actions

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZyTales is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Termination

ZyTales may suspend or terminate any account at its discretion.
Users may delete their accounts at any time; however, their posts/comments may remain visible.

Updates to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Severability

If any provision is found invalid, the remaining terms remain enforceable.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with the Platform policies referenced herein, represent the entire agreement between you and ZyTales.

Zero Tolerance Policy for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

ZyTales has a strict, absolute Zero Tolerance Policy towards Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation, grooming, or any behaviour that endangers minors

1. 20.1. Prohibited Content and Activities

   The following are strictly prohibited on the Platform:

   • Creation, upload, sharing, or distribution of CSAM
   • Sexualised content involving minors
   • Attempted grooming or solicitation of minors
   • Any content that sexualises or harms a child in any manner
   • Drawings, illustrations, AI-generated material, or fictional depictions involving minors in sexual situations

   Any violation will result in immediate account termination, removal of content, and referral to relevant authorities as required under applicable laws.

2. 20.2. Reporting & Cooperation

   We promptly review all reports related to child safety.
   If required by law, ZyTales will cooperate with:

   • Law enforcement agencies
   • National child protection authorities
   • Cybercrime organizations

3. 20.3. Automated Detection and Moderation

   All posts, comments, images, links, and profile content undergo AI-based and manual moderation to detect and prevent child sexual exploitation.
